Dr. John Shapiro

Dr. John Shapiro has been a practicing Podiatrist for over 30 years. He attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He then attended Kent State University school of podiatric medicine. He did his podiatric Medical and Surgical residency at both the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical center and the Northport Veterans Affairs hospital in Northport New York. After many years in private practice,Dr. Shapiro was on Staff at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore for the Department of Orthopaedics. While at the University of Maryland Dr. Shapiro saw many Diabetic patients who required extensive wound care and rehabilitation. Dr. Shapiro has recently joined Thomas Podiatry and associates and will continue giving compassionate personal care.
